I compared Aerobet, Winberry and MateSlots with Ricky Casino on bonus terms, wagering, payout caps, owners and licences.
Top pick: casino + sportsbook
Tournaments and bonus wheels
AUD accounts, pokies first
What I found (checked 3 November 2026)
- ACMA asked Australian internet providers to block Ricky Casino in July 2023, in the same round as Royal Reels.
- Ricky Casino’s own terms name Novatrix SRL (Costa Rica) and a Tobique licence, while most reviews still say Dama N.V. and Curaçao.
- The official welcome is up to €2,000 (about A$3,200) plus 200 free spins over ten deposits; wagering is not shown on the promotions page.
- Aerobet adds a sportsbook, MateSlots runs AUD accounts, and Winberry still needs an answer on Australian access.
The short answer is the block. Ricky Casino was one of five offshore casinos in an ACMA blocking round reported on 27 July 2023, together with Royal Reels, Reef Reels, Slots Gallery and Slotastic. Since then Australian internet providers stop the site loading, which is why “ricky casino australia” and “ricky casino login” now mostly mean “why will it not open”. I set out what that means for an existing account in my Ricky Casino review.
The second reason is trust. Trustpilot shows Ricky Casino at 1.7 out of 5 from 27 reviews, and the one-star stories repeat: withdrawals held during verification, documents requested again and support that loops. The operator is also unclear: the casino’s own terms name Novatrix SRL of Costa Rica, while most review sites still name Dama N.V.
In practice: if you came looking for Ricky Casino from Australia, you need a casino that is not on the blocked list and that publishes who runs it.
The best Ricky Casino alternative depends on what you liked about it. Pick your priority and I will point you to the closest of the three casinos like Ricky Casino.

I checked Ricky Casino on 3 November 2026 using its own terms and promotions pages, ACMA reporting and Trustpilot. Ricky Casino publishes its bonus and limits in euros; I converted them at A$1.60 per euro (ECB reference rate, 2 November 2026) and rounded. I checked the three alternatives on 21–27 October 2026. Winberry figures are its Canadian terms, converted at about A$1.01 per C$.
Aerobet is the alternative I would look at first. It runs a full sportsbook with live betting beside about 4,200 slots, which Ricky Casino does not offer at all. Its welcome is up to 600% plus 450 free spins across several deposits, at 35x on bonus plus deposit, from A$30. The licence is Anjouan ALSI-152406050-FI4 under Hazy Ltd. The catch is the daily cap of about A$800. Full breakdown: Ricky Casino vs Aerobet.
Winberry launched in February 2026 and leans on slot tournaments, bonus wheels and a 10-level VIP with cashback. Its Canadian welcome is 425% plus 675 free spins over four deposits at 40x on deposit plus bonus. I have not confirmed that it accepts Australian players, so I list it third until I can.
MateSlots keeps the account in Australian dollars, which removes the euro conversion Ricky Casino forces on you. It lists about 5,600 pokies from roughly 146 studios, a four-stage welcome up to A$6,750 plus 250 free spins, and a weekly cap of A$4,500. Sources disagree on its wagering, 35x or 40x.

Ricky Casino methods are the logos on its own promotions page on 3 November 2026; the cashier may show fewer for Australia.

Casino-only against casino plus sportsbook: wagering, payments and caps.
Two operator names, the ACMA block, limits, complaints and ratings, with sources.
No-deposit status, the 10-deposit welcome and a wagering calculator.
I compare three. Aerobet gives you casino and sportsbook in one account. MateSlots runs AUD accounts with about 5,600 pokies. Winberry has tournaments and bonus wheels, but I am still confirming it takes Australians. None of them shares Ricky Casino’s operator. See the comparison table for every row side by side.
ACMA asked internet providers to block it. Ricky Casino was one of five offshore casinos in a blocking round reported on 27 July 2023, together with Royal Reels, Reef Reels, Slots Gallery and Slotastic. Australian providers stop the site loading. I do not publish mirrors or ways around the block.
It depends on the source. Ricky Casino’s own terms, read on 3 November 2026, name Novatrix SRL of Costa Rica under a Tobique Gaming Commission licence, number 0000002. Many review sites still name Dama N.V. with a Curaçao licence. I explain both on my sister sites page.
MateSlots is the closest for pokies. It lists about 5,600 slots from roughly 146 studios, keeps the account in Australian dollars and splits its welcome over four deposits from A$30. Ricky Casino spreads a smaller, euro-based welcome over ten deposits instead.
Not that I could confirm. Aerobet, Winberry and MateSlots all start with a deposit bonus. Ricky Casino’s own promotions page shows no no-deposit offer either, although several review sites still advertise 200 no-deposit spins. My bonus page shows where each claim comes from.
Aerobet, if you withdraw every day: about A$800 a day adds up to about A$5,600 a week. Winberry caps the week at about A$5,070 on its Canadian terms, and MateSlots at A$4,500. Ricky Casino’s own cap is about A$8,000 a week, converted from euros.
I could not confirm PayID at any of them. Ricky Casino’s cashier logos show cards, e-wallets, Bitcoin and USDT. Aerobet and Winberry do not list PayID, and MateSlots is unconfirmed. Crypto and e-wallets are the methods all four share.
Offering them to Australians is illegal; playing is not an offence for the player. The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 targets operators, and ACMA blocks their sites. You get no Australian consumer protection if a payout goes wrong. Gambling Help Online is free on 1800 858 858.
Editor and casino researcher, Ricky Casino Alternatives
I am Todd Latemore, editor of Ricky Casino Alternatives. I compare Ricky Casino with offshore casinos that Australians look at instead, using only what a reader can check: the company and licence behind each brand, the bonus terms as written, payment methods, withdrawal caps converted to A$, and what review sites and players report. I date every figure, keep conflicting sources side by side and re-read the terms each month. I do not deposit or play for these guides, and affiliate links never change a verdict. My reviewer profile is on Trustpilot.
If Ricky Casino is not an option for you, Aerobet is where I would start.
